Hardening processing

The hardening processing sector includes thermal treatments used to modify the mechanical properties of metals, such as hardness and wear resistance. These processes involve heating materials to high temperatures followed by rapid cooling in air, water or oil. During hardening, fumes, oil vapours and gases are released from combustion and quenching fluids. If not properly extracted, these emissions can negatively affect air quality, operator safety and equipment reliability.

Dedicated extraction and filtration systems are essential to capture pollutants at the source, improve working conditions and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
